As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with diverse needs. You will work closely with them to develop and implement personalized care plans, ensuring they receive the assistance and guidance they need to thrive.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support and supervision during skill-building activities, fostering personal growth and independence.
  • Collaborate with supervisors to implement established treatment plans, ensuring consistency and progress towards individual goals.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, including meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication administration, promoting well-being and comfort.
  • Maintain accurate records of participant activities and progress, contributing to comprehensive documentation and care coordination.
  • Build strong relationships based on trust, respect, and empathy, creating a safe and supportive environment for individuals.
  • Facilitate community integration by supporting participation in social activities, outings, and volunteer opportunities.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation with 2 or more seats (excluding the driver).
  • Ability to pass a background check upon hire.
  • CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain upon hire.
  • Genuine compassion for individuals with developmental disabilities and a commitment to their well-being.
