We are seeking a skilled Clinic Radiology Technologist to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing radiologic procedures, communicating with patients, and ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Competently perform basic to advanced radiologic procedures, including general diagnostic, general fluoroscopy, and c-arm procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures, obtain clinical history, and address any questions or concerns.
  • Position patients and select exposure factors for various radiologic examinations, ensuring patient safety and radiation protection.
  • Identify patients, label images, and process images to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Assist physicians, work independently, and provide technical support to staff.
  • Prepare and maintain records, enter patient information into the radiology information system, and document billing codes.
  • Serve as a technical resource, role model, and preceptor for students and staff.
Requirements:
  • Radiographer license issued by the state of Wisconsin.
  • Registered Technologist (RT) registration issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Advanced training beyond High School in Radiologic Technology.
Working Conditions:

This role requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders frequently throughout the workday. Must be able to stand/walk for the majority of the day and lift up to 50 lbs. from floor to waist.

May be exposed to mechanical, electrical, chemical, and radiation hazards as well as blood and body fluids. Personal protective equipment must be worn as necessary.

Clear speech, vision, and hearing are required. Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
