Job Summary
- Under general supervision, formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding in the development or modifications of moderately complex information systems.
- Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written.
- Security needs, and implements procedures to accommodate them.
- Analyzes and revises existing system logic difficulties and document as necessary.
- Competent to work on most phases of applications systems analysis activities but requires instruction and guidance in other phases.
Qualifications
- For an Associate level position, a minimum of five years of relevant experience is required. For an Intermediate level role, 2.5 years of similar experience is expected, or an AA/AS degree with at least one year of related experience.
- Active DOD clearance.
- Certification: SEC+ CE.
Physical and Mental Qualifications:
- Be able to maintain awareness during scheduled working hours.
- Prolonged periods sitting or standing at desk and working on a computer (mouse and keyboard).
- Able to lift up to 15 pounds.
- Excellent verbal and written communication; good command of the English language.
- Execute tasks independently and work as a team.
- Learns and memories routine tasks.
- Strong organizational, grammar, business correspondence, and self-management skills.
- Candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily. If requested, reasonable accommodation will be provided for employees with disabilities.
