Painter/Drywall Specialist

Aramark is seeking a skilled Painter/Drywall Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for applying paints, stains, and other finishes to surfaces of walls, ceilings, and equipment throughout our locations and projects.

• Apply protective and decorative coats of paint, varnish, lacquer, and other related materials to interior and exterior surfaces.
• Wash, scrape, sand, torch, and smooth surfaces prior to painting or applying other finishes.
• Install, repair, and maintain drywall, wall texturing, and ceiling acoustic texturing.
• Erect scaffolding, staging, ladders, and planks to reach work areas.
• Determine appropriate colors for new or replacement applications through consultation with customers.
• Prepare and implement line striping layouts for streets and parking lots.
• Identify, handle, and dispose of hazardous materials and adhere to safety policies.

• Previous experience in painting or equivalent role required.
• Proven knowledge of painting and finishing techniques, and hazardous materials handling, application, and disposal.
• Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

This role may have physical demands including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking and standing. Uniforms and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
