Job Description

As a valued member of our team at East River Electric Power Cooperative, Inc., you will play a key role in coordinating various electric utility projects. We are seeking a highly skilled Project Coordinator to join our engineering and planning services team. The successful candidate will help manage the Cooperative's transmission and substation construction projects, ensuring that all timelines are met and every project aspect runs smoothly.

We value strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while adapting to changing project demands. While an engineering background is preferred, it is not required for this position. If you have initiative, organizational skills, and excellent communication and presentation skills, we encourage you to apply.

The ideal candidate will be able to coordinate all aspects of the project lifecycle through effective project management. This includes tracking progress using specific performance indicators such as project milestones, budget deviation, and cost variance. You will also work closely with financial staff regarding project budgets, billing accuracy, and timely processing of payments.

We strive to provide reliable and affordable wholesale power to our members across 40,000 square miles of service area. As a not-for-profit generation and transmission cooperative, we provide electricity to 24 rural electric distribution cooperatives and one municipally owned electric system serving eastern South Dakota and western Minnesota.
