**Job Overview:**

  • This senior-level role entails overseeing heavy highway and bridge construction projects, ensuring timely completion, and managing claims and change orders effectively.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Scheduling projects efficiently, allocating resources, and monitoring budgets to meet project deadlines.
  • Fostering strong relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors, acting as a liaison to facilitate seamless communication.
  • Mentoring junior engineers, providing guidance, and promoting professional growth within the region.
  • Handling client invoicing and accounts receivable cash collections, ensuring timely payments and maintaining positive financial relationships.
  • Applying in-depth knowledge of engineering science and technology, design principles, and industry standards to produce accurate technical plans, blueprints, and models.

**Requirements and Qualifications:**

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Project Manager or equivalent, with a strong track record in heavy highway and bridge construction.
  • Extensive understanding of DOT regulations, permitting processes, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate teams, manage conflicts, and drive results.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to analyze complex situations, identify solutions, and implement effective strategies.
  • A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
