Customer Experience Specialist

At Air Canada, we are committed to providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive experience for our passengers. We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Experience Specialist to join our team at the Los Angeles Airport.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to passengers
  • Check in passengers, issue boarding passes, and verify immigration documentation
  • Check in baggage and ensure compliance with company regulations
  • Make reservations and provide passengers with relevant information
  • Perform baggage tracing duties and coordinate the boarding of passengers
  • Operate loading bridges and handle disruptions and irate passengers
  • Assist physically challenged passengers and handle VIPs
  • Update records in PSS and maintain company standards
  • Ensure efficient operation of the work unit and protect company interests
Requirements:
  • Ability to use tact, good judgment, and initiative
  • Clear and pleasant communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 70 pounds
  • Security clearance and USCBP clearance required
Special Requirements:
  • Required to wear company-provided hearing protection in designated high-noise areas
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the country of interest and obtain any required work permits/visas
