About Mount Prospect Academy:
Mount Prospect Academy (MPA) is dedicated to supporting at-risk youth through comprehensive mental health services. Our mission is to create a nurturing environment that fosters growth and development in adolescents facing challenges. We are committed to delivering effective treatment through a variety of programs including residential treatment, group homes, and educational services.
Role Overview:
The BCBA will play a crucial role in our residential treatment programs, collaborating with clinical teams, direct support staff, families, and other stakeholders. This position requires adaptability and a strong commitment to the well-being of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and oversee programming, including training for direct support professionals.
- Develop and implement training in Applied Behavior Analysis techniques.
- Assist in identifying resources and support for clients and their families.
- Provide direct instructional support and model teaching practices.
- Conduct functional behavioral assessments and develop behavior intervention strategies.
- Support direct support professionals and other staff in implementing behavior support plans.
- Establish data collection systems to monitor progress and effectiveness of interventions.
- Maintain accurate documentation and communication with all stakeholders.
- Stay updated with current research and best practices in behavior analysis.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
