Job Summary

We are seeking a Part Time Cashier to join our team at Goodwill of the Olympic and Rainier Region. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for operating cash registers, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a safe and clean store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate cash registers and process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Provide exceptional customer service to a diverse range of customers
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves and disposing of trash
  • Answer phone inquiries and respond to customer concerns in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 13 months of related experience and/or training
  • Exceptional analytical, judgment, decision-making, and communication skills
  • Superior coaching, leadership, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build understanding and consensus

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly required to stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Will constantly lift 1-15 pounds, frequently lift 15-20 pounds, and occasionally up to 40 pounds.
