Endodontic Specialist

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated part-time Endodontist to join our team at the Puyallup Tribal Health Authority.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized endodontic care to patients eligible for dental services.
• Administer minimal sedation or anti-anxiety agents, including nitrous oxide, within PTHA policy limitations.
• Consult for program development and education for PTHA staff.
• Participate in PTHA utilization review, quality improvement programs, and accreditation organizations.
• Provide general dental care services to correct or treat dental diseases and deficiencies.
• Provide urgent care services to relieve pain, bleeding, and swelling.
• Prescribe medication appropriate for treating the patient.
• Document patient information using Electronic Health Records Systems.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of dentistry and successful completion of an endodontic residency program.
• Current WA State Dentist license.
• Current registration with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and National Provider Identifier (NPI) number.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records Systems.
• Current BLS certification.

Additional Information:

This is a part-time position expected to work 8 hours per week and is not eligible for PTHA employee benefits.

The Puyallup Tribal Health Authority is accredited, and the employee in this position is required to participate in job-related quality improvement activities.

**Salary Range:** $107 - $144 per hour
