Role Summary

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for ensuring high-quality, patient-focused care and managing all departmental functions during assigned shifts. Working closely with the management team, the CNC oversees nursing care in alignment with established protocols, serves as a resource for staff, and embodies the organization's mission and values to enhance patient experiences and clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitates patient admissions and discharges to promote efficient care delivery.
  • Engages in continuous evaluation of patient care quality in collaboration with management.
  • Fosters teamwork among staff and management to enhance service and outcomes.
  • Embraces a patient-first approach and addresses service recovery as needed.
  • Implements nursing strategies to boost staff engagement and operational efficiency.
  • Participates in the recruitment, training, and development of nursing staff.
  • Manages staff scheduling and labor to meet patient care needs.
  • Oversees inventory management and supply control.

Qualifications

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required within 90 days of hire.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification required within 60 months of hire.
  • Registered Nurse license.
  • Associate Degree in Nursing.
