The Program Specialist II Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Program Specialist II to join our team at EVERSANA. As a key member of our patient services support center, you will provide dedicated support to Spanish-speaking patients and their doctors, ensuring seamless communication and resolution of benefit coverage, payments, and reimbursement issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personalized support to patients and doctors via phone and online portal
  • Investigate and resolve insurance benefits, payment, and reimbursement inquiries
  • Collaborate with patients and doctors to address payment denials and appeals
  • Make outbound calls to customers for additional information
  • Assist with prior authorization and medical necessity processes
  • Administer comprehensive searches for alternate reimbursement resources
  • Respond to customer inquiries and follow up on requests in a timely and professional manner
Requirements:
  • Fluent in Spanish
  • High School Diploma and 4 years' experience or Associate's Degree and 2 years' experience in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work independently
  • Positive attitude and attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office proficiency
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Customer service and/or call center experience
  • Patient assistance, reimbursement, and/or pharmacy benefit management experience
  • Medical billing and coding experience
