Job Title: Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary:

Synergis is seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining the operation of our client's distribution facility, acting as the key liaison between the IT Infrastructure team and local business stakeholders, and supporting warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the IT Infrastructure and the operation of the warehouse.
  • Act as an escalation point for operations partners, service desk, and other members of the IT Infrastructure team.
  • Be the primary on-site point of contact for business operations including on-call support as needed.
  • Translate the needs of the business into solutions while meeting budgetary and timeline requirements.
  • Responsible for lifecycle management and capacity planning.
  • Ensure all documentation and monitoring tools are up to date.
  • Manage projects in close collaboration with our project management, network operations partners, and network service owner teams.
  • The candidate needs to possess the ability to be a self-starter and work independently, identify opportunities for improvement, lead the initiative, and execute.

Requirements:

  • 3 - 5 years of hands-on experience supporting IT Infrastructure
  • Understand enterprise-level network and collaboration concepts.
  • Working knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, VoIP, DNS, DHCP, etc.
  • Working knowledge of systems such as storage, virtualization, file systems, etc.
  • Working knowledge of low voltage/structured cabling technologies and concepts
  • Excellent documentation and project management skills
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Possess strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems (or related field), or equivalent work experience.

Benefits:

  • Hourly pay rate range: $38 to $42 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location)
