We are seeking a Proficient Network Architect to become part of our team.
As a Senior Network Architect, you will offer expert technical direction to design, engineer, and architect enterprise solutions. Your role will be essential in grasping the strategic vision of various programs, formulating effective solutions, and consistently delivering exceptional customer service. In addition to your overarching architecture and engineering responsibilities, you will also take on Product Owner duties for a developing Data Analytics initiative. Be ready to engage with current solution implementations, evaluate commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) and custom system integrations for compliance and operational stability, with a strong focus on security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing enterprise-class systems across diverse environments
- Identifying and showcasing current and emerging technology concepts
- Facilitating design workshops with multiple stakeholders
- Creating strategic plans for architecture, engineering, and integration
- Establishing, implementing, and maintaining service catalogs and procedures
- Assisting in the development and delivery of proposals
- Participating in SAFe PI Planning as Product Owner for Data Analytics
- Providing visionary guidance for Data Analytics advancement
- Implementing new releases, system upgrades, and resolving network challenges
- Collaborating with various IT professionals to analyze requirements and troubleshoot discrepancies
- 10-15 years of experience in architecture and network engineering
- 7-10 years of experience in systems administration and automation
- Technical leadership in Enterprise Architecture, SOA, and IT Service Delivery
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Cisco Certified Design Expert (CCDE) or Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certification(s)
- Experience in conducting assessments, reviewing technical documentation, and developing tailored solutions
- Familiarity with Data Analytics methodologies and technologies
- Experience with security findings identified by tools like Tenable, Burp, AppScan
- Extensive experience within agile organizations
- Experience with Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning
- Experience leading multiple resources and teams
- In-depth experience with scripting languages and automation tools
- Experience in deploying technical solutions enterprise-wide
- Active DOD Secret clearance and ability to obtain agency suitability clearance
- Must be able to remain stationary for most of the time
- Must be able to move between work locations
- Must be able to operate IT equipment and communicate effectively with others
- This position may require support outside regular hours and on-call rotation
