Job Title: School Speech Language Pathologist

Neighborhood Charter Schools is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated School Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality speech and language therapy services to our students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized speech and language therapy plans for students with IEPs, addressing areas such as receptive and expressive language, articulation, fluency, and social-pragmatic skills.
  • Implement Social Club programming for students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) using the Social Thinking curriculum and concepts.
  • Write session notes, progress reports, and IEP goals for students with mandated speech services.
  • Conduct individual student evaluations (formal and informal) and report results.
  • Provide classroom strategies and intervention-level services for at-risk students as needed.
  • Regularly update and meet with leaders, teachers, and parents on student progress.

  • Participate in ongoing learning opportunities with colleagues.
  • Engage in ongoing feedback to promote professional growth.
  • Provide workshops to families and staff.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders.
  • Licensed SLP/CF (high-quality supervision available).
  • Experience working with students with social-cognitive learning challenges.
  • Bilingual therapist preferred.
  • Familiarity with Michelle Garcia Winner's Social Thinking Curriculum (preferred).
  • Superior communication skills.
Salary Range:

$70,000-$90,000+
