Dietary Assistant

Overview

As a member of our team, you will work closely with our dietitians to approve therapeutic menu selections and ensure the accuracy and temperature of patient trays. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will make a real difference in the lives of our patients.

Responsibilities:

Perform clinical support functions related to approving therapeutic menu selections
Ensure accuracy and temperature of patient trays

Qualifications:

AA degree in Food Science/Nutrition preferred
One (1) year of healthcare experience working with modified diets preferred
County Specific requirement
County Specific Food Handlers certification required upon hire and maintained current

St. Francis Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package. The current compensation range for this role is $21.00 to $21.33. Benefits may vary based on collective bargaining agreement requirements and/or the employment status.

The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
