Job Title: Alarm System Technician

Job Summary:

Novalarm Systems Inc is seeking a skilled Alarm System Technician to join our team. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining low voltage systems and subsystems for commercial, industrial, and residential clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and test security systems, fire alarm systems, CCTV, and access control devices
  • Pull and feed wires, ensuring proper wire securing guidelines are followed
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with security systems and fire alarm systems
  • Read and follow building plans, electrical designs, and other blueprints to perform installations
  • Keep track of project deadlines, work time, travel time, materials, receipts, inventory, and other information needed to complete projects
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and code regulations, and operate work vehicles, scissor lifts, boom lifts, and power tools safely

Requirements:

  • MA Class D Low Voltage Electrical License or MA Journeyman Class B electrical license required
  • CT / RI / etc Low Voltage Electrical License preferred
  • NICET certifications preferred
  • Bosch experience preferred, but will train
  • 2-5 years experience in the field
  • OSHA 10 certified
