Healthcare Career Pathway Program Manager

The Finger Lakes Performing Provider System (FLPPS) is a network of clinical and community-based providers working together across the 13-county Finger Lakes region to transform healthcare delivery, advance system transformation, close gaps in care, and support high-risk individuals and populations.
Position Summary
The Participant Manager is responsible for overseeing the participant experience for a career pathway training program. This role requires an in-depth understanding of the healthcare positions included in the training program and involves working closely with participants to make necessary referrals and connect them with contracted partners responsible for providing services within the CPT program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the participant journey, ensuring a positive and supportive experience from initial engagement through program completion.
- Coordinate referrals to contracted partners, ensuring participants receive necessary services.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with contracted partners, ensuring effective communication and coordination of services.
- Develop and maintain a basic understanding of the positions listed in the training program to provide accurate information and guidance to participants.
- Collect, organize, and maintain participant data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Track and report on participant progress and outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring program goals are met.
- Facilitate regular communication with participants and partners through meetings, site visits, and outreach activities to support program implementation.
- Provide support and guidance to participants, assisting them with any challenges they may face during the program.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and reporting requirements, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
- PMP / Project Management Professional Certification desired.
- 5+ years of project or program management experience working, preferably, within the healthcare or higher education sector.
- 5+ years' experience building and supporting client/partner relationships to meet existing needs as well as to identify and shape strategic alliances for future initiatives.
- Understanding of, or capability to quickly learn, federal and state healthcare initiatives and regulations.
- Experience with work plans, budgets, and performance and financial reporting.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

- Proven expertise performing as an internal and external consultant.

- Track record includes planning, coordinating, and completing projects that involve both IT systems and business process changes, demonstrating a proven ability to integrate people, process, and technology to effectively meet measurable outcomes.
- Strong sense of urgency and proven background for setting and meeting deadlines.
- Ability to think and problem solve at a systems level, as opposed to only on a program or organizational delivery level.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
- Collaborate across stakeholder organizations and functions to ensure consistent implementation of new, improved processes and protocols.
- Excellent written and oral presentation skills, with the ability to engage across all levels of an organization.
- Outstanding discretion in handling of Protected Health Information, financial, and other confidential information.
