If so, we invite you to apply for the Uncommon Schools-Relay GSE Teaching Residency, a two-year program designed to equip aspiring educators with the skills, knowledge, and support needed to succeed in the classroom.

Program Overview

As a Resident, you will work full-time at Uncommon Schools-Rochester Prep, helping to increase student achievement and maintain and support school-level systems. You will receive weekly Deliberate Practice sessions from Relay GSE's expert faculty and additional training in proven, powerful teaching techniques. Gradually, over the course of the first academic year, you will take on more teaching responsibilities as your skills and confidence develop.

Eligibility Requirements
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree;
  • Minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.75;
  • A letter of recommendation;
  • US Citizen or permanent resident status;
