Key Responsibilities:
The Senior Electrical Project Supervisor will oversee the planning, coordination, and management of electrical activities across one or multiple projects. This role is critical in ensuring labor productivity and managing associated costs effectively. You will provide both technical and administrative guidance to meet project objectives while adhering to safety protocols and company policies.
Specific Duties Include:
- Overseeing labor productivity, including developing task codes and budgeting methods.
- Collaborating with project managers to assess labor needs and projections.
- Participating in weekly meetings to align the job site team towards common goals.
- Building professional relationships with contractors and their field personnel.
- Engaging in contractor project meetings, being well-prepared on schedules and constraints.
- Working with project managers to create and maintain project schedules.
- Organizing labor, tools, materials, and equipment to meet production goals within budget.
- Providing technical support and resolving field issues.
- Supervising Foremen and Senior Electricians to coordinate work activities.
- Participating in BIM and Clash Detection meetings, supporting the BIM team throughout the project.
- Reviewing and approving technical drawings for accuracy and identifying prefab opportunities.
- Implementing best practices, quality control, and safety standards on-site.
- Conducting daily job walks to identify any issues affecting production and documenting findings.
- Assessing staff strengths and weaknesses, recommending training as necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing projects with annual revenues exceeding $10M.
- Possession of an NC Electrical License or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Projects).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
