Job Summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled Echo Technician to work in a dynamic Non-Invasive Cardiology Lab environment. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for preparing patients for examinations, performing 2-dimensional echoes, M-mode, and Doppler studies, and preparing preliminary interpretations of those studies.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for examinations and perform all required echocardiography studies.
  • Prepare preliminary interpretations of echocardiography studies.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of patient echo studies.
  • Assist supervising physicians with training of residents, fellows, and other physicians.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest echocardiography platforms and technology.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac technology.
  • Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac ultrasound.
  • Strong interpretation skills to facilitate comprehensive examinations and accurate preliminary interpretations.
  • Successful completion of a cardiac echocardiography technology program.
