Position Overview:

The Senior Fixed Income Portfolio Analyst plays a crucial role within the Investment and Trading Solutions team, contributing to the Global Trading operations. This position collaborates closely with portfolio managers and traders to facilitate the effective management and execution of investment strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the portfolio management team to model investment strategies, focusing on exposure analysis, trade distribution, and cash flow oversight.
  • Independently manage specific investment strategies, addressing challenges with a structured approach.
  • Engage with analysts, portfolio managers, traders, compliance, and legal teams regarding portfolio and security transactions.
  • Take initiative on projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and implementing best practices to mitigate risks.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in fixed income modeling, providing insights across various departments including investments, client services, and operations.
  • Maintain relationships with trading and portfolio management teams, ensuring timely and accurate communication of any changes.
  • Utilize internal systems effectively for portfolio management and trade modeling.
  • Oversee portfolio analytics and ensure the accurate generation and execution of trade orders.
  • Provide precise interest rate and currency hedging information, along with other essential daily portfolio functions.
  • Mentor junior team members on complex modeling challenges.
Qualifications:

Required:
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in investment analysis or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Mathematics.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with a proven problem-solving track record.
  • Comprehensive understanding of investment portfolios and financial markets.
  • Familiarity with fixed income markets and financial instruments, including derivatives.
  • Ability to swiftly process information, draw pertinent conclusions, and summarize findings effectively.
  • Proficient in prioritizing tasks, organizing workflows, and completing assignments efficiently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
  • Advanced degree or progress towards CFA, FRM, or CAIA certification.
  • Proficient in leveraging technology with a data-driven approach.
Work Flexibility:

This position allows for remote work options up to one day per week.
