Job Summary

Aerotek is seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for ensuring the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
  • Locate and diagnose problems with mechanical devices, using precision measuring and testing instruments as needed.
  • Remove and install new equipment, and perform repairs as necessary.
  • Provide technical assistance and guidance to colleagues and management on mechanical maintenance-related issues.
  • Receive and inspect warehouse goods and materials, verifying their accuracy and condition against purchase orders and delivery documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of preventative maintenance schedules and procedures.
  • Conduct weekly safety checks to ensure a safe and clean work environment, eliminating hazards and ensuring compliance with LOTO procedures.
Requirements
  • Strong rigging experience with a good understanding of safety protocols.
  • Overhead crane inspections and repairs, including 2-ton and 5-ton cranes.
  • Stand-up and sit-down forklift operation.
  • Welding skills.
  • Ability to specify parts needed for proper repairs.
  • Knowledge of AC/DC 480 electrical systems.
  • Experience with machine maintenance, including press brake, roll forming, and punch press equipment.
Work Environment

This is a fully on-site position in a manufacturing environment. The work schedule is Monday-Friday, 6am-2:30pm, with a 30-minute lunch break.
