About the Role

Graham Packaging is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team in Elwood, IN. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including circuit breakers, transformers, and motors
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment
  • Install and replace electrical components, including wiring and electrical panels
  • Collaborate with other maintenance teams to ensure seamless operation of production equipment
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in electrical technology or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes and regulations
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
