Electrician - 3rd Shift

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team at Red Gold. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems, equipment, and machinery in our industrial environment.

• Maintenance and repair of motors, control boxes, PLCs, variable speed drives, and starters
• Run of conduit and wiring, replacement of parts as needed, and installation/removal of machinery
• Knowledge of emergency procedures, maintenance of records and files, and adherence to lockout/tag out procedures
• Responsible for monitoring, record keeping, and taking appropriate actions for specific Food Safety Plan and Food Quality Plan and prerequisite program requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Strong background in electrical, good work history, and minimum 3 years' experience as an electrician in an industrial environment
• Teamwork, background in industrial electricity, basic PLC understanding and usage skills, and ability to understand and carry out basic instructions

• Sitting, standing, walking, climbing, reaching, kneeling, crawling, squatting, bending/stooping, twisting, pinching, and grasping/handling
• Lifting 80 pounds, moving parts in excess of 100 pounds, and working in confined areas

$30-$37/hour (based on experience) + $1.00/hour Shift Premium
