Central Students Pastor

Vox Church is seeking a passionate and experienced Central Students Pastor to oversee the development of and provide direction for all programs and people aimed at the spiritual formation of students in grades 7-12.

The Central Students Pastor will be responsible for creating and implementing a unified vision for the spiritual journey of the whole child, from birth to grade 12. This includes overseeing the development of strategy related to the scaling of multi-site youth ministry, working with campus pastors to ensure the development of the youth program at each church location, and equipping youth directors to effectively minister to and disciple students.

• Work with campus pastors to ensure the development of the youth program at each church location.
• Equip youth directors to effectively minister to and disciple students.
• Lead the Central Youth Directional Team to train and equip local youth directors to execute local Youth House programming.
• Pastor and facilitate weekly Youth House gatherings at one of the largest church regional locations.
• Develop and coordinate Bible teaching content/curriculum for both regionally offered Youth House gatherings and smaller, location-specific Youth House small groups.
• Collaborate with VoxFamilies ministry to facilitate centrally/regionally offered parenting equipping initiatives and provide direction and support for the development of a parent prayer community.
• Work with the Family Ministry Director to cultivate and implement programs and events for transition points in child/teen spiritual development in partnership with parents.
• Facilitate the development of a system of partnership with VoxOutreach to provide regular outreach/mission opportunities for students at all locations.
• Ensure the implementation of uniform standards for safe and secure interaction between youth leaders and students at all locations.
• Ensure the oversight of existing database systems used for tracking student data and build out regular reporting measures to ensure accurate and current data.
• Ensure proper development and maintenance of Students social media and promotion.

• 4-5 years of ministry experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in ministry, education, or related field preferred.

• Proven passion for ministry within the context of youth culture.
• Passion for and ability to teach/communicate the truth of God's Word to teens.
• Proven ability to disciple students in their walk of faith in Christ.
• A team builder with a proven ability to lead, vision cast, equip/train, and manage other leaders.
• Ability to create and manage systems.
• Evidence of mature application of Spiritual Disciplines in one's life.
• Vision and passion for the local church of Jesus Christ.
