We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at St. Joseph's Healthcare System. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing meals for our patients and staff, ensuring a high level of quality and safety in our food services.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner for all areas serviced by Food Services as assigned by Executive Chef, Sous Chef, or First Cook.
- Perform necessary prep work to complete meals on a daily basis and for next day's production needs.
- Responsible for the organization and sanitation of work areas.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A High School diploma or equivalent and up to one year of basic technical training in food preparation.
- Previous work-related experience, plus three months or less of on-the-job training and orientation.
- Certification as a food Handler from the city of Paterson or similar food safety certification.
