PRIMARY ROLE:
The Junior Admissions Fellows are integral members of the student body tasked with various responsibilities that facilitate the smooth functioning of Campus Visit, Events, and Student Outreach initiatives. Key duties include serving as ushers, greeters, and panelists during both in-person and virtual events, hosting prospective students for meals and potential overnight stays, contributing written content for a 'First Year Experience blog,' and engaging in all necessary Admissions training and professional development sessions, including campus tour guide training, throughout each academic term.
This role is designed as an entry-level opportunity, with the potential for advancement into a full work award position in subsequent years.

Engagement with prospective students, their families, Admissions personnel, and the broader St. Olaf community.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Current student at St. Olaf in good academic and disciplinary standing.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and written communication abilities.
- Strong initiative and self-motivation.
- Capability to interact with a diverse student population.
- Willingness and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- A high degree of enthusiasm, a positive demeanor, a sense of humor, and a service-oriented mindset.
- Understanding of the needs and aspirations associated with a selective, residential liberal arts institution.
- Ability to thrive in an environment that encourages both teamwork and individual initiative.
