Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Patient Service Representative I. In this role, you will serve as the initial point of contact for patients, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing financial transactions, and facilitating a positive patient experience within our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome patients and visitors warmly and professionally.
- Confirm patient details, including insurance information and personal data.
- Collect co-payments and other fees at the time of service.
- Ensure all necessary referrals are documented in the patient's file prior to their visit.
- Maintain accurate and current patient records.
- Conduct cash handling procedures and complete cash reconciliation forms.
- Address patient inquiries and resolve issues effectively.
- Perform additional administrative duties as required.
