Job Overview

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is in search of a Banking Customer Support Specialist to enhance our Retail Banking operations. This position is focused on delivering exceptional customer service while managing various banking transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute standard teller operations while engaging directly with clients, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in service delivery.
  • Follow established cash handling protocols and ensure cash is balanced at the conclusion of each shift.
  • Process a range of client transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and payments, adhering to security measures and procedural guidelines.
  • Assist clients with account inquiries, statement requests, and account closures.
  • Promote the Bank's products and services with enthusiasm, identifying customer needs and providing tailored information.
  • Monitor client transactions for potential fraud and refer complex issues to appropriate management.
  • Compile data and generate reports to maintain compliance with banking regulations and internal policies.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized workspace while upholding a professional demeanor.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in cash handling or a customer service role is essential.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, along with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Consistent and reliable attendance is mandatory.
  • Ability to resolve customer issues effectively using available resources.
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proficient in recognizing customer needs for additional products and services and making suitable referrals.
