About the Role:As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional clinical care to our patients. Your passion for providing a comforting experience and supporting our Dentists with comprehensive care will make you a valuable asset to our team.
Responsibilities:- Provide the best patient experience by listening, empathizing, and addressing all patient concerns.
- Support our Dentists with documentation and the upkeep of records.
- Oversee operatory set-up and clean-up, including sterilization process.
- Take radiographs/x-rays and provide clear communication and education on treatment plans and maintaining oral health.
- Support all Front Desk and Office Managers as needed.
- State licensure and certification in dental hygiene.
- CRP Certification - Radiography/x-ray certification per state guidelines.
- Well-versed in dental terminology and procedures.
- Maintains a positive, collaborative, and supportive disposition with team and patients.
- Maintains compliance with state dental practice requirements (i.e., X-ray requirements, OSHA, and CE training).
- Understands and complies with HIPAA and HITECH Act of 2009.
- Clinical hours that support work-life balance.
