Job Summary:
The Licensed Psychologist will provide outpatient psychotherapy and conduct psychological testing to patients at our Alliance Clinic. Working primarily with clients ages 0-18 and their families, the Psychologist should possess knowledge and understanding of normal pediatric/adolescent growth and brain development as well as experience with pediatric/adolescent mental health diagnoses.
Responsibilities:
• Provide outpatient psychotherapy to patients, including family, individual, and play therapy
• Conduct psychological testing to assess patients' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning
• Develop and implement treatment plans to address patients' mental health needs
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of patient interactions and treatment plans
Requirements:
• Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited institution
• Training in child growth and development
• Experience using a variety of treatment milieu and psychological tests
• Experience with ADHD, developmental delays, mood disorders, autism spectrum disorders, complex psychiatric and neuropsychiatric conditions, and trauma-informed care is preferred
• Understanding of ecological, biological, genetic, and developmental factors that promote health across the lifespan is preferred
• Prior experience in a pediatric setting is preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a desire to develop outstanding leadership skills
• Demonstrate commitment to high standards of patient care and customer relations practice
Preferred Qualifications:
• Licensed Psychologist in the state of Texas (or) Provisionally Licensed Psychologist close to licensure
• CPR or willing to obtain
