Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Engineer to join our team at Synergis. As a Technical Support Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and maintenance of cutting-edge Data Center hardware.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform special damage inspections and repairs of critical parts, including Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) quick testing and damage verification inspection.
  • Assist in the execution of the damaged parts process, ensuring damaged parts are verified and quarantined.
  • Identify and escalate issues affecting part damage.
  • Provide support for key field campaigns and failure investigations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a technical field.
  • 3+ years' experience in a technical field.
  • General knowledge of electronic parts and components used in Data Center hardware.
  • 1st Level Failure Analysis (FA) ability for electronic parts.
  • Familiarity with typical mechanical defects of electronic components and hardware.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods doing detailed inspections of electronic parts and components.
  • Familiarity with simple inspection equipment such as stereo microscopes and ring lights.
  • Ability to use a PC to record/report data.
  • Ability to write process instructions/SOPs.
  • People Skills to work with and influence others.
  • Strength: Medium to heavy materials handling required.

  • Hourly pay rate range: $30.46 to $38.48.
