IT Product Automation Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking an IT Product Automation Specialist to support workload automation software in our technology industry client's IT department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use workload automation software to manage, schedule, and optimize the execution of business processes, transactions, and workflows to increase efficiency, reduce manual intervention, and reduce errors and delays in end-to-end processes.
- Ensure that automated jobs and schedules adhere to established standards, are efficient, and meet processing requirements.
- Assist application teams and business partners in defining automation requirements and task scheduling activities.
- Identify and resolve issues that disrupt or adversely affect normal system processing workflows.
- Assist in creating and maintaining departmental procedures, best practices, and standards.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of data processing experience in a technical capacity is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience using workload automation systems is required. Experience using BMC's Control-M preferred.
- Experience with prioritizing workloads.
- Understanding of server and cloud applications is required.
- Effective problem-solving and research skills.
