About the Role

The Coach Peer Mentor will be responsible for engaging students in social-emotional learning and physical education curriculum, certifying instructional minutes, and facilitating games and activities with students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement Elevo's social-emotional learning and physical education curriculum to students
  • Certify mandatory instructional minutes required for the program
  • Facilitate, demonstrate, and participate in games with students
  • Supervise different activities with groups of students, including games and distributing snacks
  • Create a safe learning environment while implementing strong behavior management skills on the field
  • Communicate effectively with guardians and all facility members
  • Operate and navigate modern technology
  • Act as a positive and inspiring role model
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all students and school staff
  • Follow COVID-19 protocols outlined by the school
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in education, coaching, or child development
  • Authorized to work in the US
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 18 years of age
  • Completion of mandatory MDR training and any district required trainings

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
