School Bus Driver Opportunity

As a School Bus Driver with First Student, you will play a vital role in safely transporting students to and from school. Our team of professional drivers is dedicated to providing exceptional service and ensuring the well-being of our passengers.
Key Responsibilities- Operate a school bus in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition.
- Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus, providing support and guidance as needed.
- Utilize our industry-leading technology to navigate daily routes and ensure timely arrivals.
- A competitive starting wage of $35 per route, with opportunities for additional hours and charter routes.
- A $1,500 sign-on bonus for new drivers (conditions apply).
- Medical, dental, and vision benefits, as well as a 401(k) retirement savings plan.
- Paid CDL training and a guarantee of hours.
- A child ride-along program and a flexible schedule with no nights or weekends.
- At least 19 years old and a valid driver's license for at least 3 years.
- Good verbal communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Subject to a drug screen and physical, as well as DOT drug testing.
