Goldfish Swim School - Milford is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deck Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our swim school, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to the growth and success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of swim instructors and deck teachers to deliver high-quality swim lessons and programs.
- Conduct daily pre-shift meetings and prepare the deck for the shift to ensure a safe and efficient learning environment.
- Evaluate instructor and deck teacher performance and provide constructive feedback to improve their skills and knowledge.
- Interact with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and provide updates on their child's swim journey.
- Act as a Goldfish Swim School ambassador to ensure customer satisfaction and promote our brand.
- Complete daily Deck Supervisor logs and monitor student attendance to ensure accurate records and compliance with regulations.
- Coordinate tasks to maintain the cleanliness and organization of the pool facility.
- Arrange for replacements for absent employees and ensure seamless coverage during peak periods.
- Maintain accurate records of pool chemical levels and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
- Two or more years of experience as a swim instructor or in a related field preferred.
- Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certifications required; can be obtained during training.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
