Bariatrics & General Surgery Registered Dietitian Opportunity

We are seeking a full-time Bariatrics & General Surgery Registered Dietitian to join Ardent Health's team at Lovelace Westside Hospital in Albuquerque, NM.

Key Responsibilities:

This role involves overseeing nutritional management within the department, exercising daily responsibility for allocating resources and coordinating activities. Key duties include:

  • Nutritional care and support of hospital patients
  • Counseling and instructing patients and outpatients on modified diets

The successful candidate will adhere to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant area or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Registration through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (formerly American Dietetic Association) preferred registration eligibility required
  • Licensed by the State of New Mexico

Preferred qualifications include a Master's Degree in a relevant area and previous job-related experience.

Compensation Package:

This role offers a competitive estimated salary of $73,500 - $93,000 per year.
