Job Summary:

Community Health Systems is seeking a skilled Biomedical Equipment Specialist to join our team at Northwest Medical Center. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing and documenting preventive maintenance and repair of general medical equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform and document preventive maintenance and repair of general medical equipment and systems.
  • Use required test equipment and demonstrate a working knowledge of electronics, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
  • Interpret and effectively utilize service manuals, schematics, and other applicable service information.
  • Demonstrate good organizational skills and effective communication with personnel and facility staff.

Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in electronics or equivalent training and/or work experience.
  • Active Arizona driver's license.
  • Preferred: One (1) year preventative maintenance and medical equipment repair knowledge and job-related knowledge of personal computers.
