Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Penny Group Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals for our customers using fresh ingredients and creative techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create menus that showcase seasonal ingredients and meet customer preferences

• Set up the kitchen with necessary tools and equipment to ensure efficient food preparation

• Prepare and present dishes in an appealing manner to enhance the dining experience

• Supervise and delegate tasks to other team members to maintain a smooth kitchen operation

• Maintain accurate inventory levels and restock as needed to prevent stockouts

• Follow all food safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment

• Participate in daily kitchen opening and closing procedures to maintain a clean and organized workspace

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role is highly preferred

• ServeSafe or Food Handler's Certification is required

• Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques and recipes is essential

• Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure is crucial

• Excellent time management skills are necessary to meet deadlines and maintain a high level of productivity

• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 pounds
