Job Description

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Inventory Control Specialist to join our team at Indeck Power Equipment Company. As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory management processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inventory Management: Perform periodic cycle counts for all inventory groups, research and troubleshoot inventory quantity discrepancies, and verify returned rental equipment.
  • Inventory Control: Properly tag and add all new inventory, process inventory movement forms, and review packing slips and sales questionnaires to ensure accurate inventory transactions.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Work with auditors on inventory sampling and reconciliation, and participate in physical inventory for all large inventory groups.
  • Logistics Support: Assist with year-end projects, and provide support for logistics and distribution operations.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Prior experience in inventory, distribution, and operational procedures.
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook, and experience with forklift operation.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively between multiple departments.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of boiler parts, valves, and fittings, and ability to read engineering drawings.
  • Logistics Experience: Experience in logistics and distribution operations.
