**Position Overview:**

The Prepress Team Lead will oversee daily Prepress activities, ensuring timely and accurate support for production. This role involves managing automation scripts (RBA & Enfocus Switch), enhancing team capabilities, and fostering a proactive approach to problem-solving and operational efficiency.

**Key Responsibilities/Scope:

  • Mentor team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
  • Serve as the primary communicator, ensuring alignment of priorities and goals.
  • Lead team meetings and manage shift transitions for clear communication and continuity.

**Operational Excellence:

  • Coordinate daily Prepress activities, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and requirements.
  • Develop and approve work instructions, ensuring alignment with industry standards and objectives.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives to enhance processes and product quality.

**Vendor & Cross-Functional Support:

  • Manage relationships with Prepress vendors for timely updates on software and hardware.
  • Act as a resource for Prepress-related inquiries from other departments.
  • Communicate daily with management regarding Prepress performance and improvement opportunities.

Estimated Annual Salary: $65,000 - $90,000

This role requires extensive knowledge of Prepress processes, including color management, trapping, die-line and file preparation for print. Proficiency in industry-standard Prepress software, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Acrobat, Prinergy, and Microsoft Office, is essential.
