Key Responsibilities:

  1. Cleaning and Sanitizing Equipment:
  • Clean, wash, and sanitize equipment according to company standards and industry regulations.
  • Use appropriate cleaning solutions, disinfectants, and tools to ensure thorough cleaning.
  • Perform deep cleaning on equipment with specific sanitation or safety requirements.
Inspection and Maintenance:
  • Inspect equipment before and after cleaning to ensure proper functioning and identify any damage or defects.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions, damage, or safety concerns to the supervisor or maintenance team.
  • Perform routine minor maintenance, such as tightening bolts, replacing filters, or lubricating moving parts.
Equipment Handling and Transport:
  • Safely move and transport equipment to and from the washing area, using carts, dollies, or forklifts as necessary.
  • Ensure equipment is correctly labeled and stored in the designated areas after cleaning.
Assist with Additional Duties:
  • Assist team members with other tasks as needed, such as organizing equipment, setting up for maintenance, or responding to urgent cleaning requests.
  • Provide support to other departments during peak times or large projects.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, move, and handle heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs.).
  • Comfortable working in wet, humid, or outdoor conditions.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
