Catholic Mass Musician

The Ladgov Corporation seeks an accomplished Catholic Mass Musician to join our team at the Keesler AFB. Catholic Chapel in Biloxi, MS 39534. As a key member of our worship team, you will be responsible for providing instrumental and accompaniment music for congregation singing and choral selections.

This is a fantastic opportunity to utilize your musical talents to support spiritual growth and community engagement. The ideal candidate will have two years' experience performing worship and music services for a Catholic church/chapel, preferably within the past five years. Familiarity with the essential teaching and religious practices of the Roman Catholic Church is also required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide instrumental and accompaniment music for congregation singing and choral selections
• Demonstrate proficiency on a secondary instrument of either piano, organ, guitar, bass guitar, and/or other basic instruments
• Read sheet music or accompany with basic improvisation
• Support rehearsals and worship services with instrumental and accompaniment music, including Catholic worship hymns and choral selections

Requirements:

• Two (2) years' experience performing worship and music services for a Catholic church/chapel, preferably within the past five years
• Familiarity with the essential teaching and religious practices of the Roman Catholic Church
• Ability to play piano and/or organ

Compensation: $60,000 per year, depending on experience. This salary reflects the local market rate for a skilled musician in the Biloxi area.
