- Accurately obtain vital signs, including blood pressure, height, weight, waist circumference, pulse, and respirations.
- Administer injections, including deltoid, gluteal, intradermal, and subcutaneous, with precision and care.
- Record client information in medical records, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
- Assist licensed staff with lab results tracking and follow-up, ensuring timely and effective communication.
- Provide support to psychiatric providers, including lab tracking, medication management, and communication with clients, family members, and community partners.
- Document client concerns and symptoms accurately, providing education and support to clients and their families.
- Maintain medication samples and work with pharmaceutical representatives to ensure adequate stock.
- Interact with clients, family members, clinical staff, and administrative staff as a liaison for psychiatric providers, providing information and addressing basic requests and needs.
- High school diploma or higher education required.
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through the American Medical Technologists (AMT).
- Current CPR certification required.
- Ability to establish rapport and deal tactfully with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful and emergency situations.
- Experience working in a psychiatric or behavioral health setting.
- Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now, word processing software, Excel, and Credible Database software.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Competitive salary range: $38,000 - $43,964 per year.
