Healthcare Sterilization Technician Role

We are seeking a meticulous Healthcare Sterilization Technician to become a vital part of our medical team.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all surgical instruments, medical devices, and supplies are thoroughly cleaned, sterilized, and appropriately stored to guarantee safe usage.

This is a full-time opportunity offering a competitive hourly wage of $30, with weekly payment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Decontaminate, clean, and sterilize medical instruments, devices, and supplies
  • Operate and maintain sterilization machinery
  • Inspect instruments for any defects and communicate issues
  • Assemble and package instruments according to departmental guidelines
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all sterilization activities
  • Follow infection control and safety protocols
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
  • Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies
  • Stay informed on the latest sterilization techniques through ongoing training
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred completion of a sterile processing training program
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Sterile Processing Technician role
  • Familiarity with infection control and sterilization methods
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to lift and transport heavy items
  • Flexibility to work varied hours as needed
