Job Title: Semiconductor Equipment Technician

We are seeking a skilled Semiconductor Equipment Technician to join our team at Oerlikon Balzers Coatings USA Inc. in Amhurst, NY.

Job Summary:

The Semiconductor Equipment Technician will be responsible for processing and coating ESCs for the semiconductor market, ensuring high-quality products are delivered on time and meet customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare the coating system, load, and unload the chamber with extreme care and attention to detail.
  • Set up and monitor Coating Machines.
  • Pre-treat customer products using standardized methods to prepare them for coating.
  • Make critical processing decisions, initiate the coating process, and disassemble and reconfigure the chamber for subsequent loads.
  • Handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Requirements:
  • 2-year degree or equivalent work experience in industry trades.
  • Experience in the Semiconductor industry is preferred.
  • Manufacturing/production experience.
  • Good work ethic.
  • Team-oriented.
  • Computer skills, able to utilize MS Office on the job.
  • Required to lift 44 pounds with extreme care.
