Job Summary:The Department of Medicine at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California is seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support our survivorship programs in the Division of Medical Oncology. The successful candidate will work in collaboration with oncologists to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to clinical research projects.
Responsibilities:- Perform physical examinations and treat common episodic and chronic health care problems
- Counsel patients and families, monitor patient progress, and assist with clinical research projects
- Work in collaboration with other healthcare team members, consulting and referring as appropriate
- Current certificate of completion from a Nurse Practitioner program
- Current and valid California State RN and Nurse Practitioner licenses
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
- Clinical nursing experience
