OBJECTIVE: This role is accountable for a variety of responsibilities that may include maintaining Guestrooms (guest Quarters & Suites), ensuring restrooms and toilets are clean, and keeping designated areas tidy and well-presented for our visitors, in accordance with industry service standards.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
The work environment extends beyond the interior of the establishment; it may encompass other external work areas and public spaces. Duties may be performed under various weather conditions, including sun, rain, heat, cold, snow, wind, and dust.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Consistently exhibit friendliness towards colleagues and guests; seize every chance to share a warm smile, wave, and greeting.
- Prepare and make beds for guests.
- Collect and remove all soiled linens from rooms.
- Sanitize all coffee makers and glassware.
- Restock guest amenities as needed.
- Dust and clean all furnishings, including sofas, chairs, cushions, benches, artwork, and plants.
- Polish all mirrors.
- Wipe down all hardware and polish metal and woodwork, including doors, doorframes, and windows.
- Clean all marble countertops, tables, and stone surfaces.
- Empty and clean ashtrays and all trash receptacles.
- Wipe all fixtures, lights, lamps, baseboards, and ledges.
- Ensure proper functioning of all toilets, flushing until the bowl is clean.
- Sweep and mop all floors.
- Vacuum carpets thoroughly.
- Clean and wipe down walls and boards.
- Replenish own cart with necessary supplies and refill dispensers.
- Remove trash, debris, dirty cups, trays, and items from assigned areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of elevators, including tracks and walls.
- Clean all vents and light fixtures.
- Adhere to safety standards and procedures.
- Report any unsafe conditions or required repairs to the appropriate supervisor.
- Provide exceptional service to all guests.
- Maintain a well-groomed appearance and presentable demeanor at all times.
- Wear a crisp, ironed uniform as per departmental standards.
- Assist supervisors and management as requested.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to communicate effectively in English is preferred.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to read and follow written instructions.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
A combination of education and training that would enable the individual to fulfill the essential functions of the role.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Prior experience in a similar role for a minimum of 6 months is strongly preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Ability to lift and/or carry materials to a height of 4 to 5 feet on an intermittent basis.
Ability to lift and move various types of furniture or fixtures weighing up to 75 pounds.
Ability to operate equipment weighing between 75 lbs to 200 lbs.
