We are currently looking for a Healthcare Liaison Specialist to enhance our intake and census development efforts. This role serves as a vital link between local healthcare providers and our organization, focusing on identifying and nurturing key referral sources to boost the quality and volume of referrals for our residential and outpatient services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain partnerships within the medical community, collaborating with local physicians, hospitals, and other referral sources to enhance the flow of referrals for substance use disorder treatment.
- Work closely with the intake department and medical operations to determine the most suitable programs and services for clients.
- Foster positive relationships with intake staff, administrative personnel, and external professional organizations.
- Strengthen connections with local hospitals, detox facilities, and other healthcare entities.
- Maintain a respectful and professional rapport with Addiction Recovery Care Center staff and clients.
- Address policy and personnel matters with supervision as they arise.
- Safeguard the privacy of all clients in accordance with Addiction Recovery Care's privacy policies and applicable laws.
Essential Experience and Education:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience in marketing is essential.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the addiction field is required.
Additional Qualifications:
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Capability to engage with local hospitals, court systems, and other referral sources.
- Proficiency in preparing and delivering presentations to diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with various computer software applications.
- A collaborative team player with attention to detail.
